KOLORO - the first Resta-Pub-Events

The summer of 2017 started a little faster for us, precisely because of a new project that is showing promise: the first Resta-Pub-Events in Timisoara.

 

The location that was to open with the arrival of summer had a new concept for our city, which was a challenge for us. In the project #KOLORO, because that's what we're talking about, entire teams of architects, designers, builders and many others were involved so that this new location would be different from the ones already existing on the banks of the Bega River.

 

Our contribution to this project was mainly limited to developing the pub functionality of the location. Our goal was to create a unique experience in the KOLORO location and for this we designed:

  • A spectacular appearance in the online environment;

  • Unconventional event ideas;

  • Weekly fashion column "Best KOLORO Style", in collaboration with fashion blogger Georgiana Medrea (www.georgianamedrea.com);

  • Good customer relationship management.

The first step was to design a teasing campaign online and especially on the location's Facebook page. 

 

The second step was to generate an unconventional idea for the inauguration, so we decided to inaugurate it with an event called "Preview", with a red carpet, paparazzi and the slogan "At KOLORO you are in your own movie!". The concept was based on creating a special experience. The reactions of passers-by were in line with our expectations, but we'll leave it to you to draw your own conclusions...

With the inauguration of the location, we started the fashion week column. "Best KOLORO Style"The idea of this fashion column started from the desire to increase interaction with customers and to offer them something special. So, every week, KOLORO awards the best outfit from the events, nominated by Georgiana Medrea on her personal blog (www.georgianamedrea.com) and on the location's Facebook page.

 

We also chose to use Pinterest because, from our point of view, it is a social network that will gain momentum in the coming years, and its users overlap with the target audience of this column.

 

KOLORO EVENTS

Over the course of 3 months, we have created the most unconventional events: energetic salsa nights, nostalgic retro moments and trips to various corners of the world. We wanted to make KOLORO the favorite choice of Timisoara residents for weekend evenings.

 

I emphasized a specific graphic design the location, which we personalized according to each individual event, and the promotion via Facebook was tailored to the specific segment.

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

We believe that one of the keys to success is good customer relationship management. At KOLORO we asked for feedback from our customers, listened to them and tried as much as possible to take their opinions and wishes into account. KOLORO customers enjoyed the events to their liking and above all we hope that we offered them a special experience.
